What is Gene Therapy?
Gene therapy is the administration of genetic material to modify or manipulate the expression of a gene product or to alter the biological properties of living cells for therapeutic use. Gene therapy is mainly used to treat some serious diseases that are a threat to human health, such as hemophilia, malignant tumors, cardiovascular diseases, infectious diseases, and so on.
