Dr. Garry Neil and Chris Sullivan have been promoted as Chief Executive Officer and chief financial officer respectively

The Company’s Board of Directors has selected Garry Neil, Chief Scientific Officer, as Chief Executive Officer, and Chris Sullivan, Chief Accounting Officer, as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Dr. Neil will continue to oversee the Company's research and development efforts. Mike Cola and Schond Greenway have resigned as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, respectively, to pursue other endeavors.

Dr. Garry Neil is also the Chairman of Arena Pharmaceuticals, a $6 billion biotechnology business listed on the Nasdaq. Mr. Sullivan previously served as the Company's Chief Accounting Officer and Interim Chief Financial Officer, raising nearly $80 million in gross proceeds during his tenure. When Mallinckrodt acquired Sucampo Pharmaceuticals for $1.2 billion, Mr. Sullivan was the Corporate Controller.
